A workshop is being held specifically for the voluntary and community sector on how to complete the application for the National Training Awards.

The 'To Europe and Beyond' grant offers financial support up to £2,000 to develop personal and professional skills in countries where Northern Ireland is developing opportunities.

Northern Bank has just announced a new programme providing grass roots support to local projects promoting Knowledge, Culture and Sport.

With a little help from their friend, Kermit the Frog, Clanmil Housing is helping raise awareness of environmental issues during Energy Savings Week 2006.

The aim of the programme is to increase learning opportunities and promote well-being among Northern Ireland’s most disadvantaged communities.

Education Minister, Maria Eagle, has announced the award of a £1.7 million contract to Contact Youth to provide counselling services in post primary schools across Northern Ireland.

A further £4 million will be made available for projects that make a lasting improvement to the local environment by creating new Breathing Places, as well as supporting the development of existing ones.
