Join the Confederation of Community Groups in Newry and Mourne in pressuring the Department of Education to extend consultation on new post primary arrangements.

Confederation of Community Groups Newry and Mourne is asking organisations in the voluntary and community sector to support their campaign to extend the consultation period on arrangements for post primary education.

They hope to put pressure on the Department of Education to extend consultation beyond the current 30 June closing date.

Give your support

  1. Print out the petition, gather signatures and return it to the Confederation.

The Confederation has found that people in the Newry and Mourne area are unaware that:

  1. the department is consulting on new arrangements
  2. proposed arrangements will have implications for schools, children and the community
  3. the consultation ends on 30 June.
