Four Acre Trust is embarking on a "spend out" policy that will mean an additional £2.5m/annum will be available to appropriate charities each year for the next 8 years.
Four Acre Trust is a grant-making trust created in 1995 by John Bothamley with funds achieved through business interests in the building sector.
John Bothamley said
Grants of between £3,000 and £300,000 will be available within the general scope of helping people make the most of their lives. Applications from charities working with young people are especially welcome and it is expected that a third will be working in the international area.
