For the first time the NICVA training calendar 2009 will include the accredited First line management programme. The modules which make up this qualification are available between 17 February and 29 September 2009.
This programme has been running for about 26 years and in the past was a very successful part of the NICVA Management Development Programme.
It is continuously updated and changed to keep it relevant and reflective of best practice. The content has been designed specifically for the voluntary and community sector. It includes current management theories and practical tools and gives an overview of how these might provide a stepping stone to other qualifications.
The aim of the course is to provide the knowledge and skills required to manage effectively in a voluntary or community sector organisation and to enhance personal effectiveness.
