A unique collaboration between NICVA and nine of the Sector Skills Councils (SSCs), has produced the highly praised Northern Ireland Voluntary and Community Sector Skills Survey 2008 report, launched by Sir Reg Empey at Stormont.

The Sector Skills Development Agency is being replaced by a new UK Commission for Employment and Skills from 1 April 2008. The Sector Skills Development Agency (SSDA) currently underpins a network of Sector Skills Councils. These will be unaffected by the change.
